We’re pressing in our new-improved cider barn with our lovely shiny new kit. We now have a bin tipper, elevator, mill and belt press! Oo get us!! After a few teething problems we’re going very nicely and managing to press approx. 2000 litres a day. We had a lorry load of Bramleys arrive and then another lorry of Dabinetts and Michelins. Finally we will have apples from our own orchard to press. All in all about three weeks of pressing, then Philip can work his cider magic over the next few months to bring you next year’s Saxby’s Cider in all it’s forms.
